goofing off..

sitting on the couch and playing around with the Christmas tree lights :-) We set it up today and made a batch of fudge, I had to think of something to keep me out of the fridge and nibbling at it!

i have my computer back!

YAY! hopefully I will have a post tomorrow and be back on track..after unpacking the bottomless pit my car became on the way home and getting all the laundry done..I think it multiplied while it was in the car yuck! and now i'm waiting on dinner and then i'm going to catch up on the almost two weeks of blog posts I missed!!!

I have been missing...

my computer! We are visiting family for Thanksgiving and I dont have my computer :-( and it took me quite a few trys to get any pictures to load at all on mom's computer..poor thing is old and trying to download the free trial of CS4 and lightroom almost killed it! But we're having a blast and since I finally got some photos to load on the computer here are some super quick shots of my bestfriend's baby girl <3

Winter Coats

were needed today for sure! It is cold and windy and we had an appointment so I let the kids play outside for a brief second so they could get a little bit of fresh air! Poor E can't walk well in his coat, it throws him off balance!

ok, the color cast is driving me batty..I miss editing in raw...this will kick my butt in gear and make me hurry up and get Lightroom, does this look better? All opinions/tips welcome...tomorrow I'll post it on OPS and hopefully get some feedback/help with pp there just wanted to throw this out tonight before I headed to bed! First is quick 5 second edit I did this afternoon, 2nd is after 2 hours of messing around in photoshop :banghead: maybe red wasn't a good idea..

let it snow ...

well we had a few tiny snow flakes last night, which kicked my butt into the holiday gear! VERY quick shoot outside with C, it was freezing and windy..we'll have to try again later in the week when E is awake too but here is my first attempt.

Yesterday was rainy and COLD so I decided to pull out my quilting stuff and started cutting! This is going to be for my best friend's new little baby girl, instead of soft colors I decided she needed something for tummy time that would hold her interest...well that and I've been wanting to use this fabric since I bought it! I got two blocks sewn last night and 8 cut and ready to sew, hopefully I'll have it finished (well the top at least) before I head home so I can quilt it on Mama C's fancy machine!

but C made a picture of what we're having for dinner! AND.....wrote the word all by herself!!!!!! YAY!!! I'm so proud of my baby..no..not baby..big girl (i'm going to go cry now, when did that happen!!!!)

no photo yet today, I'm to busy stalking the UPS guy that is bringing my NEW CAMERA ...MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ME! lol, and you can bet this sucker won't be waiting under the tree, I'm tearing it open today! And its rainy, people keep ringing the doorbell causing my heart to skip a beat...UGHHHHHH ..they will be here between 8am-7pm..THANKS UPS for such a wonderful window of anticipation!

someday I will be caught up again and check everyone's blog but not today, my bed is SCREAMING for me and my arms ache..I raked the whole yard this afternoon after our shopping trip, what a workout! And then my kids thought it would be fun to jump in again, can you find the baby? C almost over her head as well!

day late, dollar short

well, not really a dollar..I have one left ;-) After my shopping yesterday I consider that a victory and in a few mins I'm going to go stretch that dollar with my coupons I was clipping at 11pm~
I think that qualifies me as nuts but I'm ok with that! C got her big girl mattress set yesterday! The headboard should be here later this week link
She LOVES it! The bedspread is minky and SO soft and she has stripy sheets under it that match her rug! Her room looks SO different though, sniff, she, sniff, is a big, sniff, girl! Not my baby anymore . Excuse the horrible pictures I didn't grab the camera until it was getting dark and her room was finally clean!

JUMP!

the tree in the front yard, the same one from the other day, finally started dropping leaves like crazy! I can't wait until all our friends get home from school to get a shot of everyone jumping in! For the photo of the day though, its C and 'boof..hes goes everywhere with us!

Where a kid can be a kid!

We went to Chuck E. Cheese for the first time ever! The kids had a BLAST..I didn't think we would ever run out of tokens and I have a ton that I stashed for next time as well. I have a feeling we'll be heading that way a lot as winter sets in!

soooo tired...

We spent the afternoon running around town so all you get is fall colors today! What can I say....the tree didn't have to have its hair fixed, I didn't have to tell it to smile, and it sat still for me! Perfect!

The last picture I have of me is from April....I played around with my phone and got this shot! Feel privileged..it will be another 6 months before I have another picture I'm sure!

in the afternoon we always go out front and play with her friends, there are 10 kids in our little circle not counting mine so friends are always easy to find! I tried to actually sharpen and save for web this time, first time for everything right ;-) I used an action from the pay it forward blog link

oh my gosh, I hate the time change! I want to go to bed and it is only 5pm :banghead: hopefully the kids will adjust soon, I have a feeling tonight will be an early night for them! E has offically retired the highchair and now sits like a big boy with me and C at the table..his table manners on the other hand..well, you see all the rice I get to clean up as soon as I hit publish on this blog post!

Who is the biggest dog of all?

Clifford the Big Red Dog! We headed out to the mall today to meet Clifford. E walked right up to him, smiling and pointing, but when Clifford waved..his poor face turned into the sad puppy face again! Oh well, at least I got a pic of C with him! Oh and these were taking on Auto..with the pop up flash..please don't disown me ;-) It started at 2pm and E's nap time is usually 1..so it was interesting to say the least!
