Well, this has been a CRAZY CRAZY month already! Charleigh started school on the 7th, she LOVES it and the teacher already knows her and is raving about her, if you know Charleigh you knew that would happen though! Eli had his 21 month old checkup and he is doing great, ahead of his age developmental (most likely from listening to his sister 24/7) and is close to the 45-50% for height and weight. He is 27lbs now and poor Charleigh is only 30, he is going to be the big little brother!
Seth is doing great, we are getting to spend a lot of time together lately and have a lot of fun things planned for this month.
I had a little scare, the first part of Aug I had some pain in my chest and went to the ER, the first day they said it was pneumonia..they sent me home and said the baby would be ok. The next day I was back in the ER still in unbelievable amounts of pain when I tried to breath and they still said pneumonia, maybe pleurisy (spelling?) which is just fluid on the lungs, gave me more pain meds and sent me home. They didn't want to do a CAT scan to check for a pulmonary embolism because it seemed so unlikely and it is risky while pregnant. Well by the 3rd day I was still in extreme pain and coughed up a tiny amount of blood, we called the doctor and they said it was just the pneumonia working its way out (I hadn't been coughing or running a fever AT ALL so this pneumonia thing seemed off to me)..well when my legs started feeling funny and my breath got short I grabbed my neighbor, throw her little girl at Seth (he was taking Charleigh to school) and told her we had to leave RIGHT NOW...10 hours later and a HUGE bunch of mix ups as to which hospital they were going to send me to and where and what kind of tests they were going to do..I was admitted with a large blood clot in my left lung. Scariest thing I've ever heard and I know I am very thankful to God that I am alive and writing this....I walked around with that time bomb in my chest for over 3 days in and out of the hospital before anyone found it. I'm going to be ok now, I got out of the hospital today and I will be giving myself injections twice a day in my stomach for the rest of this pregnancy and six weeks after. I did it three times in the hospital and even though I didn't think I would actually give myself a shot, its not as hard as I thought when its about life and breathing haha! I had to put photo sessions on hold for a while to give myself time to recover but after this one is gone I can return to normal activities! Just wanted to update everyone, its been a VERY stressful couple of days but I have an AMAZING husband who kept everything running at home, AMAZING friend's that helped out when he was at the hospital with me, and WONDERFUL friends and friend who prayed and supported me through all this. I am thankful for each and everyone of you and I love you all! XOXOXO
