snow on top!

In the past 48 hours we have had sleet, freezing rain, flash floods, and snow! KY in the winter is wild! But when it all finished this morning we headed out to play before lunch! C made snow angels and tasted quite a bit of snow and E wandered around the yard not quite sure what was going on. The "B" family came out and played for a while as well and C and T got into a snow ball fight! E thought it was great but he couldn't quite make a snowball with his gloves on! More pictures to come but here is C giving the snow a little taste test!

ice storm..with more to come

this is a nasty little storm, we are getting more freezing rain tonight and then snow into tomorrow morning with up to 2 inches expected..on top of all this ice! We haven't lost power but some of post is flickering so if I am missing for a while that is why! Hope everyone in this mess is safe and warm!

I've been battling a cold and the kids have been sick so I'm not moving as fast as I would like through these photos but I wanted to share a few more, I'm going to post these on OPS when I finish a few more too :-) Her husband just deployed a few weeks ago so she is going to order a minibook of some of these images and the newborn pictures we are going to do when the little ms. makes her arrival!

I'm behind..again !

Oh well, it is the thought that counts right! I did my first ever maternity session today with "J" and it was so much fun. We had planned a lot of cool urban shots downtown since my kids were both in Super Sat care for once (E did fine!) and we still might go back there if she doesn't pop but it was only 30 degrees here today (it was 60 just yesterday!) so we stuck to indoor shots! Here is the very first edit! I love it, I did it full color too but I had this one smaller already so here ya go! and of course one of my kiddo!

Pampered Chef Party Tonight..

so I'm cheating and putting this one up that I was able to save yesterday! yay! E saw a little bit of snow last year but he was to young and only out there for a few seconds! This year he was in love with the white stuff and running all over the place! I am going to crop it so he is not so centered but I need to figure out what size I'm going to want it on my wall, because it is def. going on the wall ;-)

NO!!!!

well it finally happened to me :( I took a ton of pictures, including some of E that I just LOVED and when I got home something happened to my memory card (I format it every time but I think I forgot this time, first time.what luck) and the pictures are GONE, over 200 of them from the weekend. I am running some software now that will hopefully save some of them..I had a nice long cry that is for sure. But the ones from this morning seem to be fine. We woke up to SNOW! I had to drive in snow for the first time EVER and I was so nervous! My back hurts from holding on to the wheel so tight! Here is my little snowman and hopefully I will be back later with tons more pictures!

ok I got back about a 1/3 of the photos but that is better than none right! Here is my favorite of E, most of our little session outside is gone but I am SO glad this one is still around! My little man is getting so big! He would only sit still for a half a second and I almost fell down the hill a few times trying to get back for the perfect shot but it was worth it!

short little trip...

this weekend is a 3 day for the kids in school so the neighbors and I are taking a short little trip together! 4 adults, 7 kids, it should be fun! But they have an indoor pool where we are going and it is out in the country so if it warms up above freezing you better believe I'm taking my camera!! I will see everyone on Monday!

It is 1:34pm and it is only 17 degrees outside...

YUCK! So C and I took on the task of making bread..by hand..no breadmaker! Are we crazy? Yes. Covered in flour? Check. Does my house smell insanely delicious! YES!

the cold is coming..

well I think it is already cold enough for me but tomorrow our low is going to be 5..not 15, not 10..just 5! Yuck! I am not cut out for this kind of weather! So on the way to run our errands today I bundled the kids up and let them run outside for a few seconds, I call them marshmellow children in the coats lol, here is one of E.

Finally back!

Finally got my photoshop working somewhat, atleast it will read my files again! And hopefully this computer will just hang on one more month, that is all I'm asking of it! A few of C today and the "look" she has on her face in the top one is the one she gives E ALL the time! I think it is a "get out of my room or I will get you" look ;-)

i'm still here....

my computer is on the fritz, its trying to die on me..it just has to make it until tax season and then hopefully I can get a Mac of some form and never look back! I'll try to make it read some cards today and hopefully my Photoshop will load as well, for some reason it doesn't want my serial number to make the trial version work :( and yelling at it doesn't seem to help, guess I need to call customer service.
