those eyes...

no wonder she has mommy and daddy wrapped around her finger at such an early age! She was looking at a HUGE tree we saw while hiking yesterday! Childhood wonder at its best!

Finally my kids!

We all went on a hike today at the caves, the trail was a little over a mile and C hiked the WHOLE thing! We found lots of cool bugs, plants, flowers, and great new locations for my session there this week so all in all a great day!

Here at Fort Campbell,

we didn't get fireworks, we got tornado sirens and some impressive lighting!! No tornado ended up here, at least where we could see..thank goodness...but it did manage to put a damper on the cookout :( We had the first round of storms right when we were eating, everyone got SOAKED and then some more play time and right as we were settling in for fireworks the sirens went off for the next round..for some reason I do not think Kansas will be any scarier than KY! I thought tornados came in Spring but we've had them in Feb. and now in summer..ughh! So..no photos but hopefully I will get out tonight and get some fireworks shots if they rescheduled them! Here is a quickie of E's little girlfriend, I was settling up the lights the other day to practice some and the kids were crawling all over the backdrop!

Family Session, Happy 4th of July!

Quick Peek from my largest family session to date! They were a bunch of characters and we had a great time! Huge block cookout tomorrow so I should have some fun photos to share! Hope everyone is having a safe and fun 4th of July weekend!
